Hey all my fellow internet peps,

Hopefully everyone was able to relax at least some of the Easter long weekend. Regardless of what you celebrate or not.

I just finished editing some of the next short story I am going to post. The Ghost and the Ghoul. As I was doing this I found myself totally doubting the words I was editing. Almost as if the whole story was trash. Then I pulled up some editor comments from it and realized that it indeed was not fucking trash, rather a pretty little pile that just needs to be sorted and recycled into a new container. What does that mean? Well sometimes you just need to try and edit the bad out without killing everything.

Confidence in writing and creating art is almost kinda fundamental to it's creation. You have to have not only the confidence of executing whatever form your art is, but maybe you want to make some beer money from it? Maybe a modest living? Maybe the next Sanderson? What ever it is, try and keep the confidence in the art. I was listening to a writing podcast today in the shower and it came with some solid advice. When you look back on the words on the pages that you wrote; guess what you fucking created that. Is there something more there? Maybe take a stab at editing it.

It has taken me about six months to get the confidence to start this site. My journey to self publish and write books started way before that, but it's time to try and do something with it maybe. It's hard, but just fucking do it. More often than not when I write some absolute dog shit prose, I still get a feeling of great satisfaction after; the realization that it's dog shit after that, not so much.....

Well I think that's a wrap for my day. Editing on The Ghost and the Ghoul is coming along nice. I don't want to say anything but it should not be long till it's posted.

I am also honing in on the end for Chance Medley.

In some of the previous posts I was all high on The Last of Us. I still am after that second episode. God I wish I could have witnessed the non game watchers reaction lol. I am still very much enjoying it, and softly on the fence about some of the changes they are making. Still very very good.

Also y'all that Elder Scrolls Oblivion remake is great. I installed it from game pass and it's fantastic. I never finished it or played a ton of it back in the day. Experiencing it all now in a nice graphical and game play update is amazing. Also if anyone needs a chill casual farming/life sim game, Disney Dreamlight Valley is fantastic, been playing a fuck ton of it lately.

Alright time to go relax for the rest of the day.

Peace!!
