Got the Purpose manuscript back from the guild, with feedback!

Well the manuscript review from the writers guild came back sooner than expected. It was an odd manuscript, it was my first one and the first part was written almost four or five years ago, the rest was written two years ago. The feedback was exceptionally detailed. It was a messy manuscript, as I had never done one before and now I have the feedback to edit and re-write the final draft. This will take a hot couple of weeks if not more as it needs a lot of work and I am also still trying to write the first draft of the current project.

I got a good chunk of words done this week on the new crime project but I had a medical procedure that killed a day, but progress is coming along nicely.

I watched the latest season of only murders in the building and it was as great as the rest. It is such a wholesome good time murder show.

On the reading front I finished The Iliad and that was a read. It has been a good long time since I have read text that old so it was challenging and very good.

I also re-read fight club and man is that a great satire on man hood, also watching the movie right after was also cool. The movie I think is slightly better than the book but not by much.

Well that's it folks for this blog post. I am going to go drink beer and figure out how I am going to re-write and edit Purpose.
