Been a very productive week. I got a solid chunk of the western short done, it’s sitting around 5,500 words at the moment. I’m very pleased with how it’s developing.

I also made some more progress on editing the second drafts of purpose.

For reading I finished “all our wives under the sea” by Julia Armfield. This was a super pleasant horror/romance read. My only real complaint aside from writer feedback is I wish it was more horror but that’s just me. I fucking loved that it took part in the deep sea. I’m such a slut for deep sea stories.

Up next for reading is “as I lay dying” by Faulkner. Only 50ish pages in but it’s good as have his others I have read.

Lately I’ve been rewatching deadwood. Man talk about such a great show that had some of the greatest dialogue ever. It’s sharp and fucking hilarious.

Well that’s it for this Friday. Take care and as always peace and kindness.

Here’s the weeks cat tax. It’s Edward walking in the edge of my freezer.
