Sunburn on the scalp is probably what Icarus felt before he tossed himself into the sun

It's been a hot second since the last blog post. The reason for that is I penned the last chapter of Chance Medley. I have also been hard editing the first draft of Purpose, I am about three quarters of the way through; then another one or two quick drafts of edits and it will be good to send out for review and feedback.
On the other side of things. I finished 1984 and it was spectacular. I really want to dig into some of Orwell later one. After that I dove into The Sound and the Fury by William Faulkner. Man talk about a challenging but great read, definitely a book that will get some re reads later on. After that I started The Name of The Wind, so far it's a very good fantasy read. We shall see by the end of it if it lives up to the height.
As far as TV shows The Last of Us season 2 ended and well. It was good, I enjoyed a ton of it; they made some questionable choices. If you have played the game you know that there are two very distinct points of views you play as. I said after the show started that the show would be a great opportunity to tell those stories side by side and expand on it. They did not do that, it still worked and I enjoyed the season but it was a long shot from the first.
Other than that, that's it for this post. Say safe peeps and put on some dam sun screen it hurts when your head is on fire. Be kind and treat others well out there internet peps.
Also here's some cat tax.
