The last thing she saw before she turned and ran was the board of butter aloft, the woman screaming.

Yay it's Friday! I can't wait to end work and order a pizza and watch a movie. As far as book work goes, this week had none. I was pretty burnt out this week, as starting this new job and it has been busy and it's their busiest time of the year, and sometimes cramming in a couple of creative hours in the day just is not possible when your wiped.
I am hoping that a week of somewhat rest, I can dive back into the words and edits this weekend and next week.
On the reading front I started Outer Dark by Cormac McCarthy and so far it's great. I don't think I have read something from him or Faulkner in that fact that I didn't enjoy at least somewhat. It's really neat going back to his earlier novels and seeing the learning and experience translate to his later work. Really good stuff.
On the TV front I have been watching the new season of Paradise, it's a really great post apocalyptic story. I was a big fan of the first season and only re enforced that upon a re-watch. I won't spoil anything for season two but it's going in some places that I really like.
Well that's it for this week. Take care, peace and love and be kind to each other!
