Western's are in the AiR tonight Baby

So work has continued on the western short story and the first part is coming along nice. It is tentatively titled Ivey Tales.

In the spirit of westerns I have been going through season two of 1923. I continue to like most of Taylor Sheridan's writing. Most of my complaints is some of the story beats are getting a bite cookie cuter. The same scenes with similar dialog and issues can usually be found in his other works, but hey if it works, which it clearly does, then awesome my man. I will still watch them, they are very entertaining.

I watched The Accountant 2 last night and it was bloody fucking great. Just a great old action cheesy time. Some decent lines, some good action and some alright laughs. All in all if you like the first you will probably like this as well.

I also binged Halt and Catch Fire. Wow that was a banger show I missed out on when it came out. Holy shit do yourselves a favour. The writing and monologues are fantastic. The cast is great and has glue like chemistry.

On the reading front I am still going through The Name of the Wind. It's great and still a fantastic read. I will talk more about it once I am finished.
